Foster, kinship and permanent/guardian carers – help improve the payments and financial help available to carers!

QFKC would encourage foster and kinship care agencies to distribute the attached flyer to your carer community. The Australian Institute of Families is undertaking a National review into Carer payments and carers are being invited to participate in workshops to have their say.

QFKC has completed a submission which was informed by various surveys and consultations with carers, including a survey monkey specifically targeting questions relating to this review, you can find this lodged submission here.

The Australian Institute of Family Studies is doing a review of the payments and financial help that is available to foster, kinship and permanent/guardian carers. Carers are invited to a workshop to share their views and help to improve the payments and financial help available to them.

Carers who participate in an online workshop will receive a $90 voucher. To express interest in joining the workshop, please fill in this online form.
