Kyabra

Kyabra is a community based organisation committed to strengthening individual, family and community life.

Established in 1976 s the Sunnybank Community Centre, Kyabra continues to provide support and training to thousands of individuals, families and community groups in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.

Kyabra staff work from a trauma informed and Strengths-Based Approach, acknowledging that every child and carer household’s needs are unique. With extensive knowledge in Foster and Kinship Care, our case workers have a range of knowledge in other areas including Housing and Disability Support (NDIS).

Our foster carers have regular contact with Kyabra staff offering support and information. Free playgroups, parenting programs & training opportunities.
